Samsung has already confirmed that it is developing Android Nougat 7.0 for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge. The Beta Galaxy Program has been launched for both flagships through which users in select markets can register for the opportunity to test beta firmware. Earlier this week, we confirmed that Samsung had also started the development of Nougat for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6. Now we can confirm that Android 7.0 Nougat for Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Tab S2 is being developed as well. It seems that Samsung is picking up the pace this time and users will certainly like it. However, just because the development has started does not mean that the firmware is going to be published soon. It probably takes Samsung a couple of months for the update to be ready for the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy Tab S2. Has not confirmed yet when Nougat is going to be released for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge, both flagships can not get Android 7.0 before 2017. If you're curious about all the new enhancements Samsung has tested on Android 7.0, check out our new feature with the Nougat series. Keep in mind that it is still unclear if the new UX we've seen in beta builds for the Galaxy S7 will make its way to last year's flagship. Fingers crossed!
